The data board displayed in their professional development room assist them in making decisions based on what the data says about each student. They know that "just in time" instruction will help them to achieve their goal of having at least 80% of all students proficient.

Each student is represented by a graduation cap which is placed on the data wall based on their ranking (STI data). There are no names on the caps which makes the individual data confidential. Student conferences are held prior to the next administration of the assessment in an effort to do some goal setting around improving their score. Once the new data has been calculated, students will then re-rank themselves and place their cap in the appropriate location. They have chosen to place this data wall in a 'high rent' location where parents, students, staff, and community members can view it.
